This is to thank you for turning up for the USF Consultative Dialogue held on Saturday 1 October 2016 at UOC which was a very enriching discussion on USF activities, particularly the new Draft USF Rules & Regulations.
As agreed at the meeting, this is to send you a Soft Copy of the Rules & Regulations [See downloads below] for you to send us your comments by 30 October 2016. Please ensure that you send either a write up, or tracked changes, or both to make it easy for us to follow your comments/proposals.
We will continue reviewing the Rules & Regulations and should send through a refined Draft by Friday 14 October 2016, which will be posted here.

This is also to request all USF Members Clubs/Schools/Universities to submit your Work Plan/Activities calendars for 2017 to enable us compile the first draft USF Activities Calendar for 2016 that we hope to share with you in November 2016.

We wish to use this opportunity to remind all School/University Coaches to turn up for the Team Managers' Meeting due Thursday 6 October 2016 at UOC starting at 5.30 pm. Please note that attendance is compulsory and those who miss will be asked to withdraw their teams from the 15th USF-Excel National Swimming Gala due from 8-9 October 2016 at Kampala Parents School.

On behalf of the USF Executive Committee, this is to invite the Chairperson and Secretary to a Consultative Dialogue on Saturday 1 October 2016 at 2.45 pm whose main purpose will be for us to provide you with an update on accomplished and ongoing activities, and also consult you on the draft USF Rules & Regulations, 2016
Download Summons for the 15th USF National Independence Swimming Gala due from 8 - 9 October 2016 at Kampala Parents School (KPS).
Please note that Entry/Participation Fees will be a flat fee UGX 300,000/= for USF Members School/Institutions, while non-Member Schools will pay UGX 450,000/=. The Entry Fees should be paid not later than 1 October 2016.
Spectators will pay UGX 5,000/= per day. Schools are requested to collect.
The Team Managers' meeting will be held on 1 October 2016 at KPS starting at 11 am.
Please fill out the attached Entry Forms are return them by 30 September 2016 as indicated in the attached Regulations.

At GEMS Cambridge International School Kampala
Starting at 10:00 am.
Please be at the School by 9 am or earlier to ensure that you review your entry submissions before the start and also for a warm up session.
Your are urged therefore to submit your Entries Events to be swum as soon as possible using the attached Entry Forms for both individual and relay events.
Also attached is a reminder Summons for your noting.
Please note that:
1. Entry Fees per Event will be UGX 5,000/=;
2. Relays Events will be charged UGX 20,000/= per Event.
3. Spectators will part with only UGX 10,000/= per person.
Let's turn up in the usual big numbers and enjoy.
REVISED Event List for the forthcoming 2nd USF National Inter-Club Swimming Championships, 11 - 12 June 2016 at KISU.
The changes are -
1) 800 Freestyle for both women and men have been added as Events #1 and #2 respectively;
2) 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay which were Events # 64 and 65 have been removed.
Please study the revised the Revised Event List carefully before submitting your Entries.
Please note the revised Rule that indicates that:
All 200M Events and above can be swum by swimmers of 12 years and over. The age of the athlete should be at the first day of the competition. Coaches should be ready to provide acceptable evidences of the athletes' date of birth.
The number of teams eligible to score has also been increased to 15 from the earlier 8.
Please note that all the amendments are underlined and written in red as indicated in the attached REVISED Summons/Invite.

1 - Friday 3 June 2016: Deadline for Return of Entries by Email; and
2 - Tuesday 7 June 2016: Team Managers' Meeting at the UOC Offices starting at 5.30 pm. This Meeting is a must-attend for all Coaches/Club Representatives
